Why leaders may be the weak link in your change projects
---

One of the most important aspects of a change are the leaders. They often spend months considering a change project and its implications on the business. By the time their employees learn about the details of the project, the leaders have already understood and accepted the change. And they often expect their employees will do the same.
In other cases, leaders may not be ready for the change themselves. If leaders are not ready for a change, it is difficult to lead and manage the potential impacts.
A core aspect of a change project is understanding the change from the perspective of the leaders.
Sheila and Chantal discuss in this video:
- How to breakdown a change from a leader’s perspective
- Understanding the people side of change – including the leaders
- How to approach reinforcement
